Advice for parents

  • Children must arrive wearing their ski boots, with their skis and helmet.
  • Ski equipment is not provided. Poles are only necessary from the preparation for the 2ème étoile onwards.
  • Please dress your child appropriately for the weather: a warm jacket (anorak), hat, gloves, and goggles.
  • We kindly ask parents not to follow the lessons or call out to their children during sessions.
  • Please pack one snack in your child’s pocket.

For your course...

  • Buy your ski passes at the same time as booking your lessons to benefit from the best prices.
  • To make the most of your private lesson, it’s important that all participants are roughly at the same level.
  • Since adults and children learn differently, we recommend not mixing adults and children (under 13) in the same lesson.
  • Please note that insurance, lift passes, and equipment hire are not included in the lesson prices.
  • Click here to discover our family discounts on ski passes—be sure to book at least two weeks before your arrival.

Ski passes

Choosing your ski pass

You can also book a Grand Domaine Alpe d’Huez Family Pass or a Grand Domaine Alpe d’Huez Tribe Pass.

For group lessons, all participants must hold an Initiation Pass (valid on the Grand Domaine Alpe d’Huez except the Pic Blanc 3 and Marmotte 3 lifts), a Progression Pass (Grand Domaine Alpe d’Huez), or a full Grand Domaine Alpe d’Huez Pass.
Please note, the Oz/Vaujany ski pass is not valid for group lessons.

Also, ski passes sold by the ski school do not include insurance. Be sure to check your existing coverage or consider taking out ski insurance if needed.
